At Pathways for Purpose (PY4P), volunteering is more than service. It is a space for learning, cultural exchange, mentorship, and meaningful community engagement. Our volunteers work alongside children, youth, educators, artists, and local communities across Manipur through programs focused on foundational learning, psychosocial wellbeing, life skills, creative engagement, and community participation.
We welcome students, professionals, artists, educators, researchers, and socially conscious individuals who are interested in immersive, grounded experiences rooted in empathy, collaboration, and mutual learning. Volunteers may contribute through mentorship, facilitation, documentation, creative workshops, educational activities, storytelling, logistics, research, or community support initiatives depending on their skills and interests.
PY4P’s volunteering ecosystem is designed to create value for both communities and participants strengthening local programs while offering volunteers opportunities for reflection, exposure, leadership, and deeper understanding of Manipur’s people, culture, and realities.
We believe meaningful volunteering begins with respect, consistency, and the willingness to learn from communities rather than simply work within them.
